Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using OREONS, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all terms, do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and OREONS Education Technologies ("OREONS," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the OREONS website (oreons.pk) and web application (oreonslms.web.app), including all content, features, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise accessing the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility & Account Creation

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years of age to use OREONS. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental or guardian consent.

2.2 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.3 One Account Per User

You may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limitations, extend trial periods, or obtain unauthorised access is strictly prohibited.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

3.1 Free vs Premium Accounts

OREONS offers a limited "Free" tier and an "Elite Plan" subscription. Features, content limits, and AI capabilities vary based on your active plan.

3.2 Payment Processing

All payments are securely processed through our third-party payment provider (Stripe). OREONS does not store your full credit card details. By providing payment information, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fees.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Unless you cancel your subscription before the end of your current billing cycle (monthly or annually), your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current rate.

4. Free Trial Policy

We may offer a 7-day free trial of the Elite Plan. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial period ends. If you do not cancel, your chosen subscription plan will begin immediately after the trial.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Elite Plan features until the end of your current paid billing period.

5.2 No Refunds

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all payments are non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds for partially used billing periods or for accounts that are suspended due to violations of these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You agree to use OREONS only for lawful, educational purposes. You strictly agree NOT to:

  • Scrape or Copy Data: Use bots, spiders, scrapers, or automated scripts to extract questions, explanations, or any other content.
  • Share Accounts: Share your login credentials with others. Accounts are strictly for individual use.
  • Resell Services: Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense your access to the Platform.
  • Disrupt Operations: Attempt to bypass our security measures, overload our servers (e.g., DDoS), or exploit vulnerabilities.
  • Misuse AI Features: Submit harmful, illegal, or abusive prompts to our AI study assistants.

Violation of this AUP will result in immediate account termination without refund and potential legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform—including but not limited to medical questions, clinical scenarios, explanations, flashcards, UI/UX design, code, logos, and graphics—is the exclusive property of OREONS Education Technologies and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content solely for your own personal exam preparation. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

OREONS utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence models (including Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini) to generate personalized study plans, explanations, and dynamic questions.

  • Not infallible: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content can occasionally contain errors, "hallucinations," or outdated information.
  • Verification: You are responsible for verifying critical medical facts using primary textbooks or peer-reviewed literature.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated responses.

9. Medical Disclaimer

⚠️ IMPORTANT: OREONS is an educational platform designed to help students prepare for medical examinations. It is NOT a medical advice service. Content on OREONS — including clinical scenarios, drug information, and diagnostic discussions — is for educational purposes only and should never be used to make real clinical decisions about actual patients.

Always consult a qualified, licensed medical professional for real patient care decisions. OREONS disclaims all liability for any clinical decisions made based on content from our Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OREONS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

OREONS' TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO OREONS IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Platform ceases immediately
  • We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • No refunds will be issued for terminations resulting from violations of these Terms

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
